It's a nice day to pamper my 1998 Honda Accord with its 150,020 miles...after getting its oil changed I cleaned the fairly tidy interior. To my amazement, I've been driving this car 16 years and I discovered a small drawer that I never knew was there! It just never occurred to me that it was a drawer...just thought it was decorative like the "drawers" in front of a bathroom sink. If a tiny Jimmy Hoffa had been inside, it would have been the best-kept secret ever! :-)
It's taken just over 16 years but my good ol' car reached 150,000 miles last night! My '77 Chevy Nova made it 138,000+ miles until 1998, and my '98 Honda Accord is still going strong! I better treat it to an oil smoothie and a pedicure (tire rotation) today... :-)
Rain is coming to California's Central Coast, and it'll start tonight! Hopefully I'll need to reenact this young orangutan's leaf-umbrella idea! :-) I'll tell you how long it will last and how much we can expect, and I'll have your forecast through next week tonight on KCOY Channel 12! It's hard to have 6 more weeks of winter when we haven't had winter yet. I'll take 6 weeks of winter, though...we need rain on California's Central Coast! :-)
First day of February...sunshine, lots of green, and 48 as of 8AM...high of 75 this afternoon! Time for a walk, then some football game is on I think... :-)
