Be Better Citizens

A memo to college and pro athletes (and everyone in general, obviously):

Be better citizens.  Help improve society instead of making it worse.  If you don't know right from wrong, then you better ask somebody...

I long for the time when we can go an hour, then a day, then a week, then a month, then a season and beyond, when sports and sports talk are entirely based on games, and not filled with news of illegal actions and how they'll be punished.

On a selfish note, please allow Saturday & Sunday sports to be a fun & entertaining diversion again, instead of a reminder of many of society's problems.
