Facebook Wastin'...

A Time Magazine calculator has figured out that I have "wasted" 23 days, 13 hours and 11 minutes on Facebook since I joined it in August, 2008.  It says Facebook is 3,649 days old, I've been on it 1,995 of those days, and I've posted 8,644 things.  Since I choose to only post positive things allowing people to laugh & smile, or inform people of weather & space events, I feel it hasn't been a total "waste" of time, it just shows the time I spent here helping others... :-)  http://techland.time.com/2014/01/27/how-much-time-have-you-wasted-on-facebook/?xid=newsletter-weekly

Occupy Couch

It would appear the entire couch is taken up by my older cat Simba.  No place for me to sit.  She must explore the space...from right in the middle.  Thanks, Simba... :-)

Some Of The Winter Chill Has Returned

Albuquerque is one of the warmest places in New Mexico right now at 38 degrees.  Most everyone else is in the single digits and teens (especially in eastern NM).  Please stay warm and safe!  :-)

February Is Almost Here, But It Doesn't Feel Like It...

Yesterday felt like autumn in New Mexico, and the upcoming week may feel more like spring! We can expect above average temperatures and gusty wind to end January and begin February...have a great Monday, everyone!

Winter?

As far as New Mexico is concerned, this winter is the least wintry winter that a winter has ever wintered.  Pardon all the technical jargon, but I AM a meteorologist. :-)

Tree On My Car

As I was cleaning the garage the other day, I decided to take a photo of my car.  Later I noticed that it looks like I have an amazing tree painted on the hood & roof. :-) I can't believe I've been driving my good ol' 1998 Accord over 15 years now...still runs like a charm!  Have a great Thursday, everyone!  :-)

Stormy In Many Places, But...

The weather world is going crazy in many parts of the eastern U.S., but it's fairly pleasant for January here in Albuquerque. More wind and cooler air coming, though!

Soda-Pop-Free...4 Years

Time flies...the new year marks 4 years I've completely stayed away from all soda pops.  It isn't nearly as difficult as you'd expect after the first couple days, and I know my body is much healthier, too.  Pictured above is the old delivery method for my Coke, Pepsi, etc... ;-)
